Members of the Hills East Computer Club and American Computer Science League Team recently visited Cornell Tech in New York City with Mr. Del Giuduce to compete in the Cornell High School Computer Programming Contest. The team of Dylan Weber, Kyle Diaz, and Kevin Hoxha earned the Cornell Tech 3rd place medal and came in 4th overall!

Congratulations to our Thundercolts FRC Robotics team on winning the SBPLI Regional FIRST Robotics Competition at Hofstra! This was the team's first win in the regional finals, and it qualifies them for a trip to the FIRST Championships in Detroit next month.

Members of the Half Hollow Hills FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 3624 from both High Schools East and West have been visiting the district’s Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) classes to help expose the youngest students to the world of robotics. The members of the team achieve this by displaying visuals of the robotics team in action to the pre-school students, and by engaging them in an interactive science experiment that introduces them to circuits.
