Students Perform in the NYSCAME/SCMEA/LISFSA All-County High School Concert

On Friday, November 15th, over 700 students from all of the districts in Suffolk County performed in the NYSCAME/SCMEA/LISFSA All-County High School Concert at Huntington High School. Half Hollow Hills was proudly represented by 32 students from both East and West who performed in the All County Orchestra, All County Band, All County Treble Chorus and the All County Mixed Chorus.

Long Island Arts Alliance’s Scholar-Artist Awarded to High School East Student

For more than a decade, the Long Island Arts Alliance’s Scholar-Artist Awards program has recognized students judged to be “the best of the best” on Long Island in both academics and in the arts. This year, Half Hollow Hills is proud to announce that High School East senior Emily Gershowitz was selected as a Scholar-Artist for her excellence in academics and in the area of dance.
