Hills East Student Artists Honored By Long Island Arts Alliance As Scholar-Artists
Mrs. Lucie's students at Otsego have been enjoying the great outdoors for their music education classes. They have started off the year working on steady beat patterns with body percussion and the older grades have transferred the beat to drumsticks using their chairs as percussion instruments. #HHHCSD

On Friday, November 15th, over 700 students from all of the districts in Suffolk County performed in the NYSCAME/SCMEA/LISFSA All-County High School Concert at Huntington High School. Half Hollow Hills was proudly represented by 32 students from both East and West who performed in the All County Orchestra, All County Band, All County Treble Chorus and the All County Mixed Chorus.
Anastasia Boultadokis and Angelo D'Ambrosi are October's National Art Honor Society Members-of-the-Month. They have exceed the required amount of service hours and continue to represent NAHS and the HSE Art Department with passion, dedication and commitment.

Students at Signal Hill participated in a collaborative Media Arts lesson with Ms. Fallon and Ms. Jackson where they studied the history of animation and then used the app FlipaClip to create their own animated clips.

This year, Half Hollow Hills is proud to announce that High School East senior Emily Gershowitz was selected as a Scholar-Artist for her excellence in academics and in the area of dance.
