Olivia Heyer's illustration artwork will be displayed at the Suffolk County Community College’s Fine and Performing Arts Department annual Suffolk County High School Art Exhibition.

Fourth grade music students from Otsego, Signal Hill and Sunquam participated with their families in the 13th Annual P.E.A.K. Festival on Saturday, October 23rd.

Congratulations to Hills West's Adrian Otero on being selected for the NAfME All-National Honor Ensemble mixed choir, representing the top performing high school musicians in the United States! This year, NAfME is working on planning a virtual event for the 2020 All-National Honor Ensembles program.

Hills East Student Artists Honored By Long Island Arts Alliance As Scholar-Artists

Mrs. Lucie's students at Otsego have been enjoying the great outdoors for their music education classes. They have started off the year working on steady beat patterns with body percussion and the older grades have transferred the beat to drumsticks using their chairs as percussion instruments. #HHHCSD

The Hills East Tri-M Music Honor Society's annual Coffeehouse Night displayed the various talents of our music department for another successful night of music.

High School East's Art Club captured their yearbook photo in a very creative way!

On Friday, November 15th, over 700 students from all of the districts in Suffolk County performed in the NYSCAME/SCMEA/LISFSA All-County High School Concert at Huntington High School. Half Hollow Hills was proudly represented by 32 students from both East and West who performed in the All County Orchestra, All County Band, All County Treble Chorus and the All County Mixed Chorus. 

Anastasia Boultadokis and Angelo D'Ambrosi are October's National Art Honor Society Members-of-the-Month.  They have exceed the required amount of service hours and continue to represent NAHS and the HSE Art Department with passion, dedication and commitment.

AP Art History and Photography students visit the newly curated Museum of Modern Art.

Students at Signal Hill participated in a collaborative Media Arts lesson with Ms. Fallon and Ms. Jackson where they studied the history of animation and then used the app FlipaClip to create their own animated clips. 

For more than a decade, the Long Island Arts Alliance’s Scholar-Artist Awards program has recognized students judged to be “the best of the best” on Long Island in both academics and in the arts. This year, Half Hollow Hills is proud to announce that High School East senior Emily Gershowitz was selected as a Scholar-Artist for her excellence in academics and in the area of dance.

Congratulations to the Half Hollow students who were chosen to exhibit their artwork at the Atelier at Flowerfield Exhibition that runs from October 17 to November 21, 2019.

Senior, Mark Tringali from High School East, had 3 original photographs selected to exhibit in the Huntington Arts Council's Nightmare on Main Street Exhibition on view through November 16.
