What is Senior Experience?

A unique opportunity for a select group of students for the 2018-2019 school year.

A program that satisfies social studies and English requirements for the senior year.
-
Lessons that incorporate art, architecture, music, film, culture, and food.

Class content based on current literature and today's controversial issues.

Collaborative in-class projects, field trips, and guest speakers.

An out of school internship in a field of your choice. Some internship possibilities may include:

HOW WILL THIS WORK?

Class will meet three days per week, periods 7,8, and 9.
-
The internship will take place two days per week; on these days, students are released from school following 6th period.
INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Submission of a written internship proposal.

Four hours per week spent at your internship or with a mentor on your creative project.

Regular meetings with the internship coordinator.

Documented journals detailing internship activities.

Step 3: Return the completed application and the writing sample to your Guidance office by February 26th, 2016. Candidates will be selected based on the application and prior school performance.
