Art Club
Offered for: Kindergarten
Advisors: Mrs. Passerello
Description: The Art Club is a place for practicing artists to hone in on their skills, develop
their techniques, collaborate, create bonds with their peers through the arts, and learn how to
work together through group projects that will beautify the school.
Kindness Club
Offered for: 1st Grade
Advisor: Mrs. Stillman
Description- This club focuses on sprinkling kindness throughout the school as well as at home.
Students will create signs, letters, and art work that brightens the school and encourages others
to smile.
African American Culture Club
Offered for: Grades 3, 4, and 5
Advisor: Mrs. Martin
Description: Students will celebrate, embrace, and expand their knowledge of African
American history and culture. The club is open to all students who are interested in learning
more about the history, traditions, and customs of African Americans.
Yoga
Offered for: Grade 3, 4 and 5
Advisor: Ms. Kieninger
Description: Yoga Club aims to provide students with a new approach to achieving mental and
physical peace. This club allows students to bring mindfulness off the mat and into their daily
lives.
Drawing Club
Offered for: Grade 4 (Spring) and Grade 5 (Fall)

Description: One World Youth focuses on empowering children to learn about ways they can
bring about changes for the better in the world.
Engineering

Description: A challenge is given to this group of students. Together, they create creative and
diverse designs. This club works on team building and cooperation.
Gardening Club

Description: The mission of Gardening Club is to spread the knowledge and love of gardening,
to beautify our school, and to encourage the preservation of natural resources.
World Language Club
Offered for: Grade 5

Description: Students will embrace new cultures and traditions in the World Language Club!
They will be introduced to 4 different languages including Chinese, French, Italian and Spanish.
