On Friday, June 25th, High School East held is commencement ceremony at Stony Brook University for our 2021 graduates.  Almost 450 students crossed the stage to receive their high school diplomas.  The High School East family wishes you a restful summer and a happy and healthy future. Congratulations to our 2021 National Merit Winners!

Congratulations to Hills East's Benjamin Goldfried, Kevin Hoxha, Dylan Keskinyan, and Suraj Sharma on being recipients of 2021 National Merit $2,500 Scholarships! They are four of the 7,500 winners nationwide selected from a group of over 15,000 finalists, being recognized for their academic and personal achievements.

Congratulations Elizabeth Moon!

Congratulations to Elizabeth Moon, a 2021 NCWIT Aspirations in Computing (AiC) award recipient! Elizabeth was selected from over 4,200 applicants from all 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. overseas military bases, and Canada. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education. Since 2007, more than 17,000 students have received an Award for AiC.
