Congratulations to Hills West's Ashley Park, Isabella Musacchia and Samantha Krinick on receiving multiple awards in the prestigious Scholastics Arts and Writing Competition, a national competition recognizing creative high school students!

 

 

Congratulations to Hills West's Ashley Park, a sophomore in Mrs. Montiglio's Drawing & Painting II class, on receiving multiple awards in the prestigious Scholastics Arts and Writing Competition, a national competition recognizing creative high school students. Ashley received Gold Key awards for her works, "Incapability of Expression" and "Seoul - September 13, 2009." She also received a Silver Key award for "Janus-faced" and honorable mention for "Euphoria." The Gold Key awards are automatically in the running for a Gold Medal or Silver Medal that are chosen in an international competition!

 

West's Isabella Musacchia, a senior in Ms. Ievolo's AP 2-D Design & Photo IV classes, also received a Silver Key Award for her photography portfolio, "Unearthing Identity." Her work was one of only 13 art portfolios selected for Silver Keys in the entire Northeast Region. Isabella also received an Honorable Mention award for her photo, "Perspective."

 

West's Samantha Krinick, a senior in Ms. Ievolo's AP 2-D Design & Photo IV classes, also received Honorable Mention recognition for her photo, " The Delicacy of Nature."
