Congratulations to Hills West science research students Benjamin Alexander and Ryan Dang, and Shreya Kannan, Marlene McKinney and Bethany Siegel on winning honorable mention in the national ExploraVision competition.

 

Benjamin and Ryan's project was on the "Encapsulation of Trehalose and Pullulan sugars in stainless steal capsules for RNA preservation in Liquid Biopsy Transport," and Shreya, Marlene and Bethany's project was on the "Microelectronic Axon Processor."

 

The Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision is the world's largest K-12 STEM scholarship competition, challenging students to brainstorm and create inspiring technology and science projects.
