Future scientists, conservationists, and authors - Candlewood students are making a difference! Through an environmental science project with Canon U.S.A. and the New York Marine Rescue Center, 17 students created Marvelous Mydas: A Turtle Tale, a book detailing their role in rescuing and rehabilitating an Atlantic green sea turtle.

Their journey culminated in a book launch where they celebrated their achievements and explored Canon’s printing technology. Proceeds from the book will aid marine conservation efforts, reinforcing the power of education in protecting our planet.
