Talk about team spirit! At the Suffolk County Track and Field Coaches Association Dinner awards ceremony, Hills West pole vaulters Jacob Park and Suki Dong were receiving awards and opted to select members of their team as their plus-ones to attend the dinner, which is usually reserved for parents.

Jacob, who was being honored as All-County, Academic All-County, a State Qualifier and the Long Island (Nassau, Suffolk and Catholic Schools) Champion chose to bring fellow pole vaulter David Collymore, and Suki, who was being honored as All-County, chose to bring fellow pole vaulter Sophia Livan as their guests.

Jacob and Suki think of David and Sophia as family and wanted to thank them for their support and friendship throughout the year. Congratulations to all, and we are very proud of you for demonstrating what it means to be from Half Hollow Hills!
