Sunquam Elementary kicked off its new school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) initiative with student assemblies focused on what it means to be a STAR throughout the school and on the school bus!
Sunquam Elementary kicked off its new school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) initiative with student assemblies focused on what it means to be a STAR throughout the school and on the school bus!
Students learned about the STARS expectations and how positive choices can earn tokens and kindness tickets, while giving them a voice in how their classes celebrate success.
By recognizing positive behavior across our entire school community, PBIS is helping build stronger relationships, a positive school culture and a welcoming environment for all students.
