Sunquam celebrated their annual Mystery Reader Day, but this year with a virtual twist!

 

Local reporters, authors, prima ballerinas, meteorologists, EMTs, legislative representatives, chefs and Broadway musicians joined the students via Zoom or pre-recorded video. They each read a favorite children's book to the classes and shared how reading has made an impact on their career choices.

 

The children enjoyed seeing real world application of reading skills in a variety of exciting career paths.
