Students in Mrs. Barthelemy’s Multicultural Club at Signal Hill took part in a hands-on learning experience exploring the life and achievements of pioneering aviator Amelia Earhart and other influential women in history.
After learning about Earhart’s famous flights, students built their own model airplanes using popsicle sticks and clothespins, combining creativity with a lesson in perseverance and innovation.
