Mrs. Marder's 4th graders and Ms. Belz’s 2nd graders from Paumanok got together as Book Buddies to celebrate the chill of winter weather. They shared a read-aloud of "The Missing Mitten Mystery" by Steven Kellogg and were then challenged to create a matching pair of mittens with their buddy. The partners used teamwork, negotiation, art, creativity and some mental gymnastics in creating a mirror image on each mitten.
