To introduce our youngest learners in Half Hollow Hills to civic readiness and the voting process, students from the National Social Studies Honor Society organized a Toy Hall of Fame Election outside the polling site at the Fran Greenspan Administration Center!

Children cast their votes for Playdoh, Legos, Bubbles, or Crayons on mock ballots, dropped them in a ballot box, and proudly wore their "I Voted" stickers. What a fun and engaging way to learn about the power of voting!
