The Hills West boys soccer team recently invited the family and friends of alumni Alexander Aurrichio to a special ceremony where they unveiled a banner next to the south goal at Finn Field that celebrates the life of their "All Time Captain."

 

Mrs. Aurrichio was presented with flowers from the captains of the team, as well as by the captains of the visiting team from East Islip.

 

Alex tragically passed away in June of 2020 in Australia in a bicycle accident. He was there playing Australian Rules Football, professionally. Alex was a 2007 All American at Hills West in soccer, Dellacave Winner, and 2 sport athlete (soccer and baseball) at Columbia.
