Hills West proudly participated in Sandy Hook Promise's Say Something Week with a number of activities including an announcement reminding students who their trusted adults are, positive affirmation post-it notes written by teachers that greeted students on their lockers, guided meditation sessions to help learn a new coping skill, pet therapy dogs creating a calm and nurturing environment, and a building activity focusing on how our words impact those around us.
