Congratulations to our students who won or placed in this year's Huntington Youth Writes Competition!

 

In the Grades 4-5 Poetry category, Signal Hill's Celia Welch won 1st place and Amelia Kerwin won 2nd place. In the Grades 4-5 Short Story category, Sunquam's Arielle Bang won 1st place and Signal Hill's Michael Deaner won 3rd place. In the Grades 4-5 Essay category, Vanderbilt's Emma Bobkin won 3rd place. In the Grades 6-8 Essay category, Candlewood's Alina Joeph won 1st place, and in the Grades 6-8 Short Story category Candlewood's Molly Linzer won 3rd place. And, in the Grade 9-12 Essay category, Hills East's Samir Batheja won 2nd place.
