Recently, our FTC robotics teams from Hills East and Hills West competed for over 10 hours at the Long Island Regional Qualifier, hosted at Sewanhaka High School. Competing against schools from across Long Island, our 3 teams showcased their engineering skills in front of judges and peers.
Recently, our FTC robotics teams from Hills East and Hills West competed for over 10 hours at the Long Island Regional Qualifier, hosted at Sewanhaka High School. Competing against schools from across Long Island, our 3 teams showcased their engineering skills in front of judges and peers.
Among 20 teams, two of our teams won multiple awards and qualified for the Regional Championship in March. Rise Robotics (Team 8109) earned recognition as Semi-Finalist Alliance and scored the 2nd highest score out of 50+ matches. Invicta (Team 8110) earned the 2nd place Inspire Award while also winning the competition en route to achieving the top 3 scores, while going 8-0 in match play. Team Vega (Team 7407) earned the Think Award and was a finalist alliance.
