Carly Lansky and Amanda Shimony guided the visitors through the crops and protocols, highlighting the garden’s success in donating over 600 heads of mixed lettuces to Island Harvest in November and December.

After meeting with the Island Harvest team, the program is set to expand its offerings by transitioning to more nutritionally and culturally diverse crops such as field greens, fresh herbs and beans. This collaboration continues to make a meaningful impact for the local community!
