Hills East and West's Ms. Suarez was one of 200 teachers selected by lottery to attend the virtual High School Research Teachers Conference.

 

Produced by the Society for Science & the Public and sponsored by Regeneron, the event kicked off with Astronaut Chris Cassidy live streaming answers to student questions from the International Space Station.

 

Conference attendees collaborated on topics such as data collection apps, ideas for at-home research, and STEM opportunities for students.
