Congratulations to the Hills East Science Olympiad teams for an outstanding performance at the Regional competition at Hauppauge High School.
Competing against 65 teams from 32 Suffolk schools in the largest Science Olympiad event in the country, Hills East teams placed 3rd, 29th and 42nd overall and qualified for the State competition for the 19th consecutive year.
Students also earned top 10 medals in 17 of the 23 events, including three gold medals.
