Hills East Science National Honor Society members spent an inspiring day at Stony Brook University exploring the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center, where they toured hydrogen, combustion and battery labs and met with researchers leading energy innovation. They continued at the Center of Excellence for Wireless and Information Technology, experiencing immersive VR, testing AI-powered robotics and taking part in a hands-on science communication challenge with the Alda Center. The day wrapped with a discussion on cyber security and its crucial role in scientific research and technology.
