The Hills East and West ASL honor society members and their teacher Ms. Mannino attended a Deaf community event at the Main Event where they played trivia and were able to converse in American Sign Language with local members of the Deaf community.

By actively engaging with Deaf individuals, the students were able to truly grasp the language's natural flow, nuances and cultural context.
