Congratulations to our Hills East and Hills West science research students for their outstanding performances at the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair (LISEF)!

 

Hills West seniors Alexandra D’Alessio (Animal Science), Benson Huang (Biomedical Engineering) and Arav Chand (Mathematics) each earned 1st place and will advance to the International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, AZ this May.

 

Additional top finishers included Hills West’s Rachel Braverman (2nd place, Computational Biology) and Harrison Bernstein and Galileo Solis (2nd place, Engineering Technology), along with Hills East students Samantha Heyman (3rd place, Medicine and Health), Mohammad Wasim (3rd place, Software Systems) and Nathanial Ma (3rd place, Computational Biology). Fourth place honors went to Hills East students Samaya Syali (Behavioral Science), Kaylee Kuhr (Cell Biology) and Adrianna Stucchio (Physics and Astronomy), as well as Hills West’s Alan Yu (Cell Biology).
