Congratulations to our students who won or placed in the Huntington Youth Writes Competition! This year, Half Hollow Hills students won 6 of the 18 awards in the town.

 

Congratulations to our students who won or placed in the Huntington Youth Writes Competition! This year, Half Hollow Hills students won 6 of the 18 awards in the town.

 

In the Grades 4-5 Essay category, Signal Hill's Katie Hodyl won 1st place and Ethan Levenstien won 3rd place. In the Grades 4-5 Short Story category, Signal Hill's Owen L Shouldice won 2nd place. In the Grades 6-8 Poetry category, Candlewood's Eliana Eisenberg won 1st place and West Hollow's AnnaBelle Deaner won 2nd place. And, in the Grade 9-12 Essay category, Hills East's Samir Batheja won 2nd place.
