Congratulations to our students who won or placed in this year's Huntington Youth Writes Competition!

• In the 4-5th Grade Poetry category, Sunquam’s Olivia Lederer took 1st place, and Vanderbilt’s Ariadne Zouzias won 2nd place.
• In the 4-5th Grade Essay category, Vanderbilt’s Ishan Malik earned 1st place.
• In the 6-8th Grade Short Story category, Candlewood’s Diya Rakesh Modi won 1st place, while in the 6-8th Grade Essay category, Diya earned 2nd place.
• West Hollow’s Sera Bagga took 2nd place in Grades 6-8 Poetry, and Ethan Levenstien earned 3rd place in the same category.
• In the 9-12th Grade Poetry category, Hills West’s Marissa Withers took 1st place, while Hills East’s Ishpreet Kambo won 2nd place.
• In the 9-12th Grade Short Story category, Hills East’s AnnaBelle Deaner placed 2nd.
• Hills West’s Ari Izgur earned 1st place in the Grades 9-12 Essay category.
