This year, our elementary students are participating in the Sandy Hook Promise's Start With Hello Week by doing lessons tied into our Elementary Connects program September theme of belonging.

Students are taking part in activities to teach empathy and to empower students to end social isolation, and will see a video made by our Elementary School Social Worker, Mrs. Gerson, reminding them about the importance of including others.

Students will also take a pledge to Start With Hello and engage in other projects throughout the month to encourage all students to recognize that everyone belongs in Half Hollow Hills.
