Congratulations to Hills East's Samir Batheja and Jacob Leshnower on being named Scholars in the Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation's oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors!

Only 300 scholars were selected from nearly 2,000 entrants, with each student receiving a $2,000 award and their school also receiving a $2,000 award.

Samir's project explored the association between sleep and fatigue in depression, and Jacob's project was about the connections between music and emotion. We also congratulate all of our research students who submitted projects for this competition and our faculty members for their support.
