Students and staff wore green to show their solidarity during the week and were given the opportunity to display why they choose to be an upstander by adding their “Why” to the “Why I Say Something” handprint tree.

Say Something is a Sandy Hook Promise program that teaches middle and high school students how to identify warning signs and get help for individuals before they hurt themselves or others.
