Candlewood students recently embraced a Valentine’s for Veterans extended advisory, writing thoughtful cards to local veterans and personalizing small stuffed bears with messages of gratitude.
Candlewood students recently embraced a Valentine’s for Veterans extended advisory, writing thoughtful cards to local veterans and personalizing small stuffed bears with messages of gratitude.
Through the Bear Givers nonprofit and its Leading With Kindness initiative, each advisory class created meaningful tokens of appreciation that reflect the school’s commitment to service.
The decorated bears and cards will be delivered to local veterans in time for Valentine’s Day.
