Congratulations to 8th grader Sahana Dhamija on winning Candlewood Middle School’s annual Scripps school-wide spelling competition.
The top 27 spellers competed through 29 rounds, with Sahana securing the title by correctly spelling the word tournaments.
She will now advance to the regional championship with a chance to qualify for the national spelling bee in Washington D.C.
