The Hills East AP Art History class continues its tradition of creating inspiring installation art with their 19th annual project, The Swing.

This year’s installation draws from two influential works: Fragonard’s The Swing and Yinka Shonibare’s The Swing (after Fragonard). Both pieces explore themes of risk-taking and embracing uncertainty through the motif of a swing.

Students have reimagined this concept with a stunning floral swing installation in the Hills East lobby, inviting viewers to reflect on the balance between playfulness and boldness in life. Stop by to experience their creative interpretation firsthand!
