Resident children of the Half Hollow Hills Central School District who will turn five years old by December 31, 2022, are eligible for kindergarten in September 2022. Online registration for incoming kindergarten students will begin Monday, January 3, 2022. The application and requirements are available on the Half Hollow Hills website: https://www.hhh.k12.ny.us/district/student-registration. Once you have completed the entire application and uploaded the required documents, you will be prompted to schedule a Zoom meeting to review and finalize your child's registration. Your child's registration is not complete until you meet with the District's Registration Department during this final step in the process.
For children born in 2018, the Universal Pre-K Application will also be available as of January 3, 2022 on the District website at https://www.hhh.k12.ny.us/district/upk. The District is anticipating a daily, 5-hour program for the 2022-2023 school year. The Universal Pre-K program is funded by a NYS grant provided to the District. The application deadline is February 1, 2022. If interest exceeds available placements, a lottery system will be utilized.
