Mr. John O’Farrell is the Superintendent of Schools for the Half Hollow Hills Central School District, charged with being the executive officer for the board of education and the unitary leader of the school district, with responsibility for its effective functioning.

 

Mr. O’Farrell has served the Half Hollow Hills Central School District since 2000, when he began his career in education as a science teacher in the West Hollow Middle School. In 2008, he was appointed as the Director of Science and Technology for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Mr. O’Farrell joined the central office administrative team in 2011 as the Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education.

 

Mr. O’Farrell’s goal is to provide all of our students with the skills and knowledge they will need to be competitive and successful in higher education and as members of the 21^st century workforce.
