Mr. John O'Farrell
Assistant Superintendent Secondary Education
Mr. John O’Farrell is the assistant superintendent of secondary education in the Half Hollow Hills Central School District, leading the day-to-day instructional program for students in grades 6 through 12.
Mr. O’Farrell has served the Half Hollow Hills Central School District since 2000, when he began his career in education as a science teacher in the West Hollow Middle School. In 2008, he was appointed as the Director of Science and Technology for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Mr. O’Farrell joined the central office administrative team in 2011.
Mr. O’Farrell’s goal is to provide all of our secondary students with the skills and knowledge they will need to be competitive and successful in higher education and as members of the 21st century workforce.
