Assistant Superintendent for Education Operations

Dr. Milton K. Strong serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Education Operations in the Half Hollow Hills Central School District, leading all aspects of daily instructional and operational programs and services for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

A lifelong educator with more than three decades of experience, Dr. Strong began his career in the New York City Department of Education before returning to his roots in Half Hollow Hills. A proud graduate of the district (Class of 1989), he came back in 2003 as an Assistant Principal at West Hollow Middle School. In 2008, he was appointed Principal of West Hollow, serving for nine years before becoming Principal of High School East in 2017. After eight years there, he moved into his current district leadership role. His dedication to continuous growth led him to earn a doctoral degree in Educational Policy and Leadership from Hofstra University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Strong has worked to enrich the student experience and now brings that vision district-wide, supporting programs and initiatives that foster creativity, collaboration, and a vibrant sense of community across all grade levels.
