The Half Hollow Hills Board of Education is seeking to fill the vacant trustee seat left by outgoing trustee Adam Kleinberg, with the term ending June 2027. In accordance with Board Policy 2150, the Board may fill this vacancy by appointing a new member with a majority vote. The newly appointed trustee will serve until the next public election in May 2026, and if successfully re-elected then, will serve until the end of the term in June 2027. District residents interested in being considered should submit a letter of interest, including a bio or resume, to boe@hhh.k12.ny.us by September 17. The Board hopes to announce the appointment at the regular Board meeting on October 6, 2025.
