Planetarium

Half Hollow Hills Central School District is home to a 24 ft. planetarium. The star field is produced by a Spitz A3P planetarium projector. The facility services the school district's students, K-12.   Associated with the planetarium is a district hands-on Discovery Center. The Discovery Center is also designed to supplement elementary science education. As a centerpiece, the Discovery Center has a 40 foot Space Shuttle simulator which is capable of automated or student directed simulations.
