Our Schools

The Half Hollow Hills K-12 program is designed to meet the individual needs of all students. Our diverse population includes many students at various levels of educational development.

The District offers a strong academic programs, including 19 advanced placement courses, and college level courses offered at the State University of New York at Farmingdale, and in the Long Island University / C.W. Post Scholastic Collegiate Articulation Learning Experience program (S.C.A.L.E.).

Many students are involved in Independent Studies in Foreign Languages, including Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Latin and Hebrew. Students participate in Independent Science and Math research as well as internships in Medicine, Law, Engineering, Accounting and other professional areas. The business co-op program provides on-the-job experience in local businesses. Some students participate in the BOCES Cultural Arts Program, as well as the Technical Vocational Program.

Half Hollow Hills High Schools' extra curriculum program includes interscholastic athletics, intramural sports, and a variety of clubs and community service projects. These extracurricular opportunities are extensive. Further information is available on request.
